Luminous & Radiant @cheselynamato Cheselyn Amato performs a spoken-text drash on Parsha Bo on the occasion of The Queen's Table at Chochmat Halev in Berkeley, CA, a reimagining of the rituals of the ancient Jewish mystical tisch. Gathering around a long candlelit table with sacred teachers illuminating ancient wisdom, wordless niggun melodies, and libations and delicacies late into the night, this reinvention of the Hassidic tisch honors the Zoharic invitation to "make Shabbat a delight… unto both the body and the soul, a delight unto the celestial and earthly realms.” Take your seat at our opulent tisch (table) in a fete to the feminine face of the Divine, the supernal Queen, who according to the Zohar graces us with Her immanent presence on Friday nights “crowned” through our song, study, and spirit.

Luminous & Radiant @cheselynamato Join Cheselyn Amato as she tours her exhibition, Radical Radiance: Lanterns of Possibility & Field Extracts, at Art Works Downtown in San Rafael, CA. Color & Light Works for Sublimity, Wonder, Awe and Delight Visual Antidotes in an Age of Uncertainty and Human Vulnerability These color and light works are called effluxes which meaning outpouring or pouring forth. The work is presented both as 3D experiences and as digitally-printed photographic excerpts. The installation is offered as instigator and incubator in honor of sublimity, awe, wonder and delight! Via the enlivening, compelling and bolstering nature of color and light phenomena, the work is an invitation to curiosity and empowered exuberance, encouragement for the heart, mind and body, and calling to antidotal action in this time of uncertainty and heightened human vulnerability. May we be supported and emboldened by the ever-presence of the possibility of reciprocity, reclamation and renewal.
